The player can play many variants of shogi against a CPU opponent with various customization options, including the CPU difficulty and the appearance of the kanji characters on the shogi tiles.nnnnLike almost all shogi games, Hayazashi Nidan Morita Shogi was never released outside of Japan. It was followed by a sequel, Hayazashi Nidan Morita Shogi 2, in 1995.
